Mover 1
Our Mover 1 position is for all new hires. Before these individuals are allowed on a job site they are required to pass not only a background check and drug screening, but also a 100 question examination and a performance evaluation course. Upon completion, these individuals are monitored by a personal
“mentor” over a period of time until they are deemed ready for advanced training and promotion to Mover 2.
Mover 2
Each mover has been instructed on the best methods of preparing, loading and transporting product such as commercial furniture and computer equipment to maintain the integrity of the product upon arrival at it’s new destination. This level of training has dramatically increased our efficiency on the job-site; when the crew arrives, each member of the move team knows his role and immediately sets about getting his part done.
Furniture Installer 1 and 2 – Navy Polo Shirts

Flood Brothers has been the South’s long standing leader in office furniture installation services. Our installers are trained and certified for all manufacturers of both case goods and systems furniture. Because we have the market’s largest team of experienced installers, we never have to subcontract to outside installers. Therefore, Flood Brothers can confidently handle any size project.
IT Technicians 1 and 2 – Black Polo Shirts
Better known as the “MEN IN BLACK”, Flood Brothers IT Team has a long tradition of being on the cutting edge of Smart Building Technology an has been drawn into the world of Desk Top Management by the demand of our client base. Since Flood Brothers is strictly a Commercial Relocation company it seemed only natural that the next phase of relocation services be in the IT area. We have some of the most talented personnel who constantly work at keeping up with next level of business technology to meet the demands of our customers.
Task Leader – Blue / Black Shirts
These individuals are skilled communicators who oversee the movers to maximize efficiencies, save time and effort, and ensure that projects stay on schedule. Their distinctive shirts make them instantly recognized to newer onsite workers. Recognized for their leadership skills, Task Leaders are responsible for executing specific tasks and leading teams. All of our PMs and task leaders have Nextel 2-way radios and Blackberries for heightened communication on the job-site.
Project Managers - White Polo
All Project Managers have extensive training and experience in leading teams to execute your move. Project Managers use proven systems and methods to maximize efficiencies, saving time and effort for your employees and money for your company.
Flood Brothers uses an apprenticeship method of bringing up installers through the ranks before becoming lead installers and then only the most experienced are promoted to Project Managers. Therefore, you are guaranteed a Project Manager who is skilled in the disciplines of installation of systems and case good furniture and will be able to handle any event regarding your project.
Quality Control Manager – Navy and Red
Flood Brothers carefully controls the quality of each move by planning the project out in detail, training the team that will execute the project, providing proper leadership to complete each task demanded and, finally, to manage the overall e
xecution of the project’s goals. Despite all these careful measures, there is still room for human error.
That is why we implemented the “Quality Control Manager”, as the ultimate project management position. This person is also known as the “Fire fighter”. He is called the Fire Fighter because he is on the job site to put out fires or prevent them from happening in the first place. The reason he wears the unique red and navy uniform is so he can instantly be recognized by our crews as the problem solver.

“Badges!” Yes, as matter of fact, we do need stinking badges!Every Team Member wears a badge to distinguish his position on the team. They also provide jobsite security by displaying a photo, name and position title. Additionally, the Flood Brothers’ badges are bar coded to ensure accuracy in dispatching the right person, with the right skill level to the right job site to make sure we get the job done right. Right? Right!
